Andrei Svechnikov admitted he was a little nervous ahead of his NHL All-Star Game debut

russian striker “Carolina Hurricanes” Andrei Svechnikov shared his emotions after attending the first NHL All-Star Game.

At the moment, along with Svechnikov, five Russian hockey players are on the list – Alexander Ovechkin (Washington Capitals) Igor Shesterkin (New York Rangers) Nikita Kucherov (Tampa Bay Lightning) Kirill Kaprizov (“Wild Minnesota”) and Vladimir Tarasenko (“St. Louis Blues”).

– It’s exciting. I’m even a little nervous. It means a lot to me to be able to go there and spend a few days with the best hockey players in the world.

I just want to have fun and meet guys. It will be three fun days. There aren’t many opportunities in life to do something like this, so I’ll try to get as much fun out of the game as possible.

Would you like to follow Slavin and Akho to win a throwing accuracy contest? Lets go. I’m ready! — quotes the official Svechnikov website of the club.

The 2023 NHL All-Star Game will take place in Florida from February 3-4.
