19-year-old Ukrainian refereeed the match Spain – Taiwan in Division 1B of the Youth World Cup
Angelina Mayfeld became the first ever Ukrainian female judgewho worked at the match world championship.
19-year-old Angelina officiated the match between Spain and Taiwan (4:1) among girls under 18 years of age in Division 1B of the Youth World Championship in Katowice, Poland.
Recall that Maifeld is an active player of the Ukrainian national ice hockey team. In parallel, Angelina practiced as an arbiter and last summer she became the first Ukrainian who received an international category from the IIHF.
At the start of the current championship of Ukraine among men, Mayfeld, in the status of a linesman, worked at the duel between HC Kyiv and Kremenchug (0:6).
After that, Angelina moved to Romania to continue her playing career in the local national championship. In parallel, she continued to referee the matches of the youth championships of Romania, and in December for the first time she received an appointment for the Ersteliga duel, in which the Romanian Progim and the Hungarian Ujpest met (6:2).
