Athletistic/Hockey. Czech goaltender Dominik Hasek has responded to criticism from fans who were unhappy with the former hockey player’s proposal to stop showing NHL games on Czech television because he played in the league of Russian hockey players.

  • Tikhonov: “If Gashek stood at the door and Ovechkin whipped him, there would be nothing left of him”

“Dominique, that’s too much. I don’t watch Nova, but I pay for NHL.TV. Does that mean the service should be canceled too?” Hasek was interrogated.

“It depends on what matters more to you – human lives or watching hockey, which advertises Russia’s actions. For me, human lives will always be more important than even the best game in the world. Otherwise , as you can see, I stand for Russian athletes and I want and will help them,” Hasek replied.

  • Hasek called on NHL management to resign over decision to allow Russians to play in Czech Republic
