American Hockey League (AHL) regular season game between clubsToronto Marlies “and” Manitoba Moose “was discontinued after the fan needed medical attention, according to the NHL’s website.
Paramedics performed artificial respiration on the woman during the first break, and she was later taken to hospital in critical condition.
“After consultation with both teams and the AHL, the decision has been made to suspend the game. Toronto and Manitoba are grateful to the paramedics and supporters who helped manage the emergency. Our thoughts are with the victim and his family,” Marlis said in a statement.
When the game was stopped, the score was equal – 1:1, the game will be played another day.
