As the newspaper notes, the 26-year-old striker will sign a new two-year contract with Magnitogorsk.
Goldobin played in the NHL for the San Jose Sharks and the Vancouver Canucks, played 125 games in the North American League and scored 46 (19+27) points.
In the KHL, the hockey player played for CSKA, and in December 2020 he became a Metallurg player. In the 2021/22 season, Goldobin played 42 regular season games, had 39 (16+23) points, scored 18 (8+10) playoff points in 23 games.
