Offensive “Siberia” Taylor Beck is capable of becoming a coach for the majority immediately after the end of his playing career, Sergey Krivokrasov, assistant head coach of Novosibirsk, told Sport24.
“The mastermind of the majority is Taylor Beck?” I have heard that he takes the most active part in the discussions.
“He played there for many years, he knows all the lines. Taylor knows how to give. He is a player. Beck has a “council chamber” in his head. But Sharov, Pyanov, Butuzov, Murphy – they all participate. Without each of them, there would be nothing. If Beck had proposed something and Sharov had disagreed, nothing would have clicked. My task is to glue them.
Will Beck be a good coach?
– Calmly. I believe he can become a coach for the most part immediately after his playing career is over: in the KHL or even in the NHL. Because Taylor sees the game and knows a lot of stuff. I worked with Jarkko Immonen last season in Yukurit – the same thing. Remember this? He played a lot in Russia. Immonnen is the same master of the game in the majority, – said Krivokrasov.
The 31-year-old has played 54 games this season, scoring 47 (12+35) points.
