Russian defender “Washington Capitals” Dmitry Orlov told Sport24 how the search for restaurants, where he and his friends usually go, is going.
– You have already visited every city a hundred times in your years playing in the NHL. How is the restaurant search going? Are you going to the same ones or are you looking for new and popular ones?
– It depends. There is a program on the phone. When you arrive in a new city, you just look at what there is and where there is. On Friday or Saturday, it is best to reserve a table in the restaurants in advance. In small towns, people go to the same establishments, because the choice is limited. Some guys on the team just order food to the room, but the Russians and I are trying to go somewhere, relax, have a bite to eat.
— Who is the main organizer of your company?
“Most of the time, I look at restaurants. We have a group in WhatsApp, I reject the options there, together we already make a decision. But I wouldn’t say that we have a serious approach here. We just want to eat delicious food and make everyone feel comfortable.
This season, Orlov has played 33 games and scored (3+13) 16 points.
