– I can’t say I’m 100% ready, but I could play. No one wants to miss a game no matter what. But yeah, it’s hard. The guys got up and played well. Unfortunately, we didn’t score another goal, but we put in a lot of effort and fought hard,” Ovechkin told the NHL website.
Ovechkin has 53 points (31 goals and 22 assists) in 49 games this season.
