Zhuravlev spent the start of the current AHL season at the Colorado Avalanche’s farm club, the Colorado Eagles. For the team, the 22-year-old Russian played 14 matches, scored one assist. The Russian signed a two-year contract with Colorado but terminated the contract by mutual agreement in December.
– You have already answered questions about Colorado, but I still wanted to clarify. When did you first think you wanted to go back to Ak Bars?
Somewhere in mid-November. A month of the AHL season passed and I started thinking that I wanted to go back to Kazan.
– What was the trigger?
– Several moments. The life situation forced me to return home. And the hockey situation has also been affected.
