Defender of Kazan “Ak Barsa” Nikita Evseev out of action for a week due to an upper body injury, according to Metaratings.ru.
Evseev was injured in the KHL Fonbet Championship regular season away game against Metallurg Magnitogorsk (3:2 OT) on Friday. The 18-year-old hockey player spent 1 minute 13 seconds on the ice, he suffered mechanical damage after a collision with hosts striker Pavel Akolzin.
In the current regular season, Evseev played 47 games in which he scored seven points (5 goals + 2 assists).
Ak Bars is second in the Eastern Conference standings with 71 points after 56 games.
