Down-the-line.com/Hockey. International Hockey Federation (IIHF) President Luc Tardif commented on the statement from the International Olympic Committee. Earlier, the organization said it would consider the possibility of allowing Russians and Belarusians into a neutral status if they did not support the special military operation.
“At the moment there are no changes in the 2022/23 season.
We will have a meeting with the IOC in mid-February to find out what they mean by certain admission requirements and possible deadlines. The IIHF Council will be held in mid-March,” Tardif said as quoted by TASS.
