“200 goals in a season is a milestone, but not SKA’s maximum” – Roman Rotenberg

Head Coach S.K.A. Romain Rotenberg commented on the score of the St. Petersburg club in the current season of the Fonbet KHL Championship.

SKA hockey players scored their 200th goal on Monday in a home game against Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod (1:2 B).

– For the sixth time in the KHL, SKA broke the 200-goal mark. This is an important step, KHL teams do not achieve such a result every season. It’s not our maximum: given the number of chances created, there could have been a lot more goals. We will strive for even better performance, especially in home games, to please the fans with a brilliant and productive game! — Rotenberg wrote on his Telegram channel.

SKA has scored 91 points in 58 games and confidently leads the KHL Western Conference standings. Previously, Roman Rotenberg’s team had secured access to the playoffs.
