Lokomotiv beat SKA (2:1) in the Fonbet game of the Continental Hockey League (KHL) on the road and secured their place in the playoffs.
Lokomotiv have won four of the six matches against SKA this season.
– Difficult game. We defended a lot, played selflessly, that’s why we won.
I will not say that we prepare ourselves specially. SKA is the leader of the KHL, the guys have a special mood, they don’t need to be motivated. I don’t see any pattern in the wins over SKA.
Regarding the result, the game plan worked perfectly. Hockey is beautiful with the unpredictability, you work after the fact. During the game, we adjust the settings, we adapt to the opponent. It’s important to respond correctly to errors, we did it well, that’s why we won.
