The meeting took place in Moscow on Friday and ended in favor of the guests with the score 3:2. The Red-Whites lost their fourth game in a row.

We have nine games left. That’s a potential 18 points. As the coaches say, we still have a chance, we will cling to a place in the playoffs. Yes, we have a problem with the implementation of moments. Of course, if we had scored more, we would have won. The psychological factor also plays a role. But we are professionals, we have to face the pressure. I repeat, the championship is not over yet, there is still every chance for the playoffs. I hope we get through this excitement. We have a task for the season. We are all, including players, technical staff and club staff, are one team. We focused on the result, on the end of the regular season. We don’t pay attention to the rumors around the club.

I want to apologize to the fans. Although this is not the first time my partners and I have apologized. Thank you to the fans for believing in us until the end, for supporting us everywhere – at home and outside. Sometimes when playing away, you feel at home thanks to the supporters. Looking forward to the next matches. We will try not to let them down in order to complete the task of entering the playoffs as one big family,” Verba told the club’s website.
