Defender of Ak Bars Mark Yanchevsky has successfully undergone upper body surgery and may miss the rest of this season due to his recovery, according to Metaratings.ru.
Yanchevsky played his last match on December 8, when Kazan defeated Avangard (3:2 OT) in Omsk. Since then, he has missed 22 games in a row.
