Defender of Magnitogorsk “Metallurgist” Alexei Maklyukov under a new contract with the hockey club will earn 35 million rubles per season, excluding bonuses, according to Metaratings.ru.
Maklyukov extended the deal with Magnitogorsk on February 6 until the end of the 2024/25 season. According to the publication, the salary will amount to 35 million rubles a year, or $ 494,000 per season. In addition, the player’s contract provides for an increased bonus game at the end of the season.
This season, Maklyukov, 29, has scored 8 (3+5) points in 59 games.
Metallurg is third in the Eastern Conference standings with 75 points.
