Beginner New York Rangers Vladimir Tarasenko makes his team debut on the same line with his compatriot Artemi Panarin according to the team’s press office.
Tarasenko will take to the ice for the first time on the new team in the NHL’s regular season against Seattle, the game being Friday. Igor Shesterkin will take the place in front of the Rangers goal. Tarasenko and Panarin’s third partner on the tie will be Mika Zibanejad.
On Thursday, Tarasenko, 31, joined the St. Louis Rangers in a trade.
Tarasenko has been playing for St. Louis since 2013, in the 2018/19 season he won the Stanley Cup. In total, Tarasenko has made 644 appearances for the Blues, scoring 553 (262+291) points. In the playoffs, the Russian scored 41 goals and provided 19 assists in 90 games.
