The San Jose Sharks beat the Washington Capitals 4-1 in the National Hockey League regular season.
Forward “San Jose” Alexander Barabanov and attacking ice hosts Yevgeny Kuznetsov registered the three best players of the meeting. The former was named the game’s second star, and Kuznetsov was named the third.
Sharks defenseman Eric Karlsson was named Man of the Match.
Drums and Kuznetsov each scored a puck.
In the next game, San Jose will host the Pittsburgh Penguins at home and Washington will face the Carolina Hurricanes at home. Both meetings are scheduled for February 14.
