Tampa coach backed Vasilevsky after conceding 6 goals in series opener with Rangers

Tampa Bay Head Coach John Cooper enjoyed the game of the team goalkeeper Andrei Vasilevsky in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Semifinals playoff series with the New York Rangers, in which the Lightning lost 2-6.

– There is no fault on the part of Vasilevsky in the goals conceded. We could have put the two guards at the same time, we would still have missed”, Joe Smith, journalist, quotes Cooper.

The Rangers led the series to four wins. The second game of the showdown is scheduled for June 4.
