Champion of Ukraine confirmed his participation in the Continental Cup
Falcon is negotiating participation in the championship of Poland, Hungary or Slovakia.
The champion of Ukraine is considering these options amid uncertainty over the next championship of the Ukrainian Hockey League.
“So far I can say that Sokol has confirmed his participation in the Continental Cup. They did this without having absolute certainty about the future, since the deadlines for confirmation were expiring. This is a joint decision of the club management and FHU. Of course, we do not know if the 2022/23 Ukrainian Championship will start. With this in mind, we are negotiating the participation of Sokol in the championships of Poland, Hungary or Slovakia,” said the coach of the Kyiv team Konstantin Simchuk.
Sponsorship? Work is underway. Several partners with whom we collaborated last year promise to support the club in the future. Everyone understands that the Falcon must live. For the sake of winning traditions, for the children who study at our school, and for the fans, of which there are a lot.”
Sokol was recognized as the UHL champion at the end of the 2021/22 season, which was completed ahead of schedule due to the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.
