Kherson team is one point ahead of Sokol
Kherson Dnieper beat a local in Kalush Legion in the next match Ukrainian ice hockey championship.
In the first period, the teams exchanged goals. In the second segment of the game, the scoreboard did not change – 1:1.
The fate of the meeting was determined in the third 20 minutes. The victory was brought to the Dnieper by the pucks of 16-year-old Ilya Shcherbak and Nikita Sidorenko – 3:1.
Dnepr scored 64 points and climbed to first place in the standings. The Kherson team is ahead of Sokol by one point and Kremenchuk by four.
The Legion suffered its fourth defeat in a row. The team from Kalush takes the fourth place in the Ukrainian championship.
On February 25, the Dnipro will play with the Kharkiv Berserkers, and the Legion will meet with Kremenchug.
