The head coach CSKA Sergei Fedorov after defeating “Torpedo” (8:3) answered ‘s question about why he started using a stopwatch during matches.
– Not only today, against Torpedo, I took a stopwatch in my hands. To be precise, I’ve been doing this since January 21st. I don’t use it often, it’s really entertaining. But now I have decided, just for the sake of form, to work with a stopwatch every game. It helps a lot to count the shift time of the guys who are on the ice,” Fedorov said.
Earlier at a press conference, responding to a question from , Fedorov noted that CSKA recently fell “into a turbulent period”. But the team understood that the current owner of the Gagarin Cup’s losing streak was due to hockey players replaying shifts.
