Canadian defender “Admiral” colby williams said he was happy with Vladivostok, where the club is based.
Williams moved to “Admiral” at the beginning of this season, before that he only played for the American and Canadian teams.
– Many KHL hockey players consider Vladivostok to be one of the best cities in the league. Do you agree with them?
— Vladivostok pleasantly surprised me. I didn’t even think it was such a beautiful city. There is a good center and many interesting places where you can go. I really like that the city is located by the sea. And now, in winter, it is quite warm for this time of year, it is always sunny there. There is very beautiful nature around, and the terrain is hilly and magnificent views open up from above. In September I was able to swim in the ocean, the water was warm. In Russia I have already seen many good cities, but Vladivostok is not like any of them. Here, different cultures intertwine, including the Japanese. Lots of oriental food, seafood, sushi, – Williams was quoted by RB Sport.
In the current KHL Fonbet Championship season, 28-year-old Williams has played 66 games and scored 18 (1+17) points.
