Offensive “Capitals of Washington” Alexander Ovechkin ranked 10th in the NHL’s Top Extreme Forwards rankings by ESPN.
Nikita Kucherov (Tampa Bay Lightning) finished second, Minnesota Wild forward Kirill Kaprizov Third, the New York Rangers forward Artemi Panarin – The seventh. At the top of the ranking David Pastrnak (“Boston”).
The reporters interviewed ten NHL players, six from the Eastern Conference and four from the Western Conference, as well as 10 employees from the hockey operations departments, including three coaches and three general managers. Respondents were asked to rank the top 10 players in the league so far by position based on a pre-defined list of 25-35 players.
This season, Ovechkin has scored 54 points (32 goals + 22) in 54 NHL regular season games.
