“We understood that the game was very important for us. We also realized the importance of this match for the opponent. Therefore, we went out with a serious attitude, on principle, as in every game. It was a good start from us, two quick goals. Then they calmed down somewhere, they understood that the enemy also needed to reconquer. We conceded a goal, then we played a lot in the minority in the third period. All the guys did a good job, braided themselves, jumped under the puck, the goalie saved us. Such a very difficult victory, but worth a lot.
Was there anything specific you focused on before the game?
— We realized that we had to focus on our game first. Of course, we dismantled the opponent punctually at times, not so long ago we played with them. We understood that the opponent was motivated, but we are no less motivated. Therefore, they also came out to play, to do what was expected of us.
– Were you ready to lead 2-0 by scoring in positional attacks? Why did they let the opponent come back?
– We conceded the first at the end of the second period. The third had many minorities. Sure, what we missed is bad, but for a whole 9 minutes we played 4-on-5 and got a puck. In general, they shouldn’t give the opponent that much of a majority.

“We don’t have to look at what will happen and how. So don’t look too far, we have a game against Avtomobilist on Friday. Therefore, you have to give it your all to get two points.
The Chelyabinsk team scored 68 points and is ninth in the Eastern Conference standings.
