Athletistic/Hockey. Washington Capitals coach Peter Laviolette has assessed the condition of Russian forward Alexander Ovechkin after his return to the team.
The hockey player flew to Moscow due to the death of his father Mikhail Ovechkin and returned only today, February 22.
“Laviolette said Ovechkin seemed in good spirits. Good to have him back at work,” journalist Sammy Silber tweeted on his Twitter page.
Ovechkin can help “Washington” in a match with “Anaheim”. The match will take place on February 24.
