Thursday night, the Islanders won at home against Winnipeg Jets with a score of 2:1. Sorokin became the game’s first star, tallying 25 shots.
Chicago Blackhawks forward named first star of the day Patrick Kane who scored 3 (2+1) points in a game with the Dallas Stars (4-3).
The second star was forward “Calgary Flames” Elias Lindholm who scored 2 (1+1) points in the game against the Arizona Coyotes (6-3).
