Offensive “Sochi” Matvey Michkov scored a lacrosse-style goal in the Fonbet Championship match KHL against “Kunlun Red Star” .
The match takes place on Sunday in Sochi. In the third minute of the first period, the 18-year-old forward came out of the net and sent the puck into the top corner, Sun Zehao couldn’t parry the shot.
In April of last year, Michkov scored the game-winning lacrosse goal in overtime for SKA-1946 in Game 6 of the MHL Playoff Final Series against the Red Army. Earlier too, he knocked on the doors of the Swedish national team as part of the Eurotour in the same way.
This season, Michkov has scored nine goals and eight assists in 27 games for Sochi.
