Expanded line-up revealed Ukrainian women’s team ice hockey World Cup 2023.
Blue-and-yellow coach Evgeny Alipov formed a list of 27 hockey players. The final training camp for Ukraine before the world championship will be held in Brasov and will begin on March 27.
The composition of the women’s team of Ukraine
- Goalkeepers: Yuliana Vilgan (Ice Dream Kosice, Slovakia), Irina Zaichenko (without a club), Victoria Tkachenko (Martin, Slovakia), Anna Kharkovskaya (L&L, Latvia).
- Defenders: Sofia Gutor, Dominika Lopatina, Daria Rozhok (all – Mikhailovce, Slovakia), Alexandra Mashkina (Ambry-Piotta, Switzerland), Irina Ratushnaya (L&L, Latvia), Victoria Denisenko, Tatiana Kirichenko, Marina Krivoruchko, Tatiana Tkachenko (all without a club ).
- Forwards: Elisabeth Alipova, Elena Alipova, Polina Telegina, Daria Tsimirenko (all – Ambri-Piotta, Switzerland), Ekaterina Andrushchenko, Yulia Dobrovolskaya, Anna Les, Victoria Tsenova (all without a club), Kristina Drofa (Kurbads, Latvia), Kristina Zagrekova ( Hammarby, Sweden), Varvara Izmailova (Ingoldstadt, Germany), Angelina Meifeld (ACS Fox Hockey, Romania), Antonina Roganova (Aosta Gladiators, Italy), Elena Tkachuk (Flash Ice, Turkey).
The rivals of the Ukrainian national team at the 2023 World Cup in division 3A will be the teams of Lithuania, Romania, Estonia, Hong Kong and Bulgaria. The event will take place in Brasov from 3 to 9 April.
