Director General of Dynamo Moscow Alexei Sopin admitted that the club was the first to show interest in the son of Minsk general manager ‘Dynamo’ Maksim Souchko .
Following the exchange, Minsk “Dynamo” acquired the rights of goalkeeper Ivan Zhigalov.
– How did you manage to exchange Sushko from Dynamo Minsk, because the head of the Belarusian club is the striker’s father? As Sergei Anatolyevich Sushko himself told me, we were the first to become interested in Maxim. Even when he was in North America, Alexei Nikolaevich Kudashov and I talked to him – and he was very happy. Moreover, he remembered that as a child he went to Dynamo Moscow.
Perhaps it will even be useful for him to play not under the supervision of his father, but in another city – to change the image and get out of the comfort zone. Therefore, he decided that Dynamo would be the best option to continue his career, Sopin told The Championship.
Sushko is 23 years old, last season he played for the Philadelphia Agricultural Club in the AHL – Lehigh Valley Phantoms, played 63 games for the team, in which he scored 17 (10 + 7) points.
