Minnesota beat Vancouver on the road in the NHL regular season game on Thursday 2:1 (1:1, 1:0, 0:0). Kaprizov scored a brace.

We had no answer for Kaprizov. He’s a hell of a player. He was the deciding factor. The guys tried, but he’s a world class guy. I think I should have played more. You can’t stop him, he’s shady. But I think we could play a little better in the defensive zone, – the NHL website quotes Tocquet.

Kaprizov has 73 points (39 goals + 34 assists) in 62 games this season.

Minnesota has 76 points and is fourth in the Western Conference standings. Vancouver (53) is 12th.
