The team of the Ural Federal District (UrFD) won gold at the hockey tournament of the International Winter Games “Children of Asia”, which is held in Kuzbass.
In the final, the team from the Ural Federal District defeated the team from the Siberian Federal District with the score 4:2.
Bronze medals were won by the team from the Far Eastern Federal District, which defeated the team from Kuzbass.
“Children of Asia” runs from February 23 to March 5. The games program included competitions in cross-country skiing, speed skating, hockey, snowboarding, downhill skiing, figure skating and other sports. For the first time in the history of the games, the competition is organized by four territories at once: Kemerovo, Novokuznetsk, Mezhdurechensk, Tashtagolsky municipal district.
