“Admiral” beat “Salavat Yulaev” (3:2 OT) at home in Game 3 of the Fonbet KHL Championship Playoff Starting Round.
In the second period, the guests took the lead thanks to the precise shots of Artem Pimenov and Nikolai Kulemin. At the start of the third game segment, Dinar Khamidullin played a goal for the Admiral, and three and a half minutes before the siren, Yevgeny Lisovets equalized and moved the game to extra time.
The Admiral’s winning goal came from Yuri Pautov in the 15th minute of extra time.
“Admiral” won the second victory in the series and again took the lead in games won – 2-1. The teams will play in Vladivostok again on March 7.
