Striker and Captain “Florida Panthers” Alexander Barkov called the great game of the Russian goalkeeper Sergei Bobrovsky in an NHL regular season game against the Vegas Golden Knights.
The game took place overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday Moscow time and ended 2-1 in favor of Florida, Bobrovsky stopping 31 shots.
– It’s great to have a goalkeeper who plays at such a level. It’s amazing and we’re really confident with him in goal. Every game is important to us and we all want to win them. We play each period as if it were the last, that’s what we do. I think we could have played better, especially in the second period, but Bobrovsky, as always, was great and kept us in the game,” Barkov quoted the NHL website.
This season, the 34-year-old Russian goaltender has played 42 NHL games with a clean sheet. Florida is ninth in the Eastern Conference with 70 points.
