Sergey Plotnikov (9th minute), Vladislav Kamenev (11), Pavel Karnaukhov (14), Anton Slepyshev (17, 56), Takhir Mingachev (26, 60), Mikhail Grigorenko (28), Prokhor Poltapov scored goals among the winners (57).
Severstal scored Robin Press (25), Roman Abrosimov (11) and Egor Morozov (56).
CSKA tied the game in the best-of-four series – 2-2. The fifth game of the series will take place in Moscow on March 10.
