Rangers to complain to NHL about ‘Tampa’ game against goaltender Shesterkin

Head Coach New York Rangers Gerard Gallain expressed outrage at the actions of the Tampa Bay Lightning players against the goaltender Igor Shesterkin in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup semi-final series. Rangers lost 2-3 with Shesterkin saving 48 shots.

During the game, Tampa forward Cory Perry played with a high stick against Shesterkin and received a two-minute penalty.

– I do not like it. Hopefully when we talk to the show supervisor tomorrow they will take care of it,” journalist Matt Larkin quoted Gallan as saying.

The Rangers lead the series 2-1. The fourth game of the confrontation is scheduled for June 8.
