Torpedo Head Coach Igor Larionov spoke about the striker’s injury Kirill Urakov who suffered a facial injury in the fifth game of the Fonbet KHL Championship first round playoff against Moscow “Dynamo” .
The meeting in Nizhny Novgorod ended in victory for the hosts in extra time with the score 4:3. Urakov received a cut from a skate to the face during a fight with Dynamo striker Ilya Kablukov in the third period of the match.
– Colossal difficulties, a cut, if he will be ready to play the next match, I will not say it yet. As soon as the match was over, I congratulated the guys, I didn’t have time to talk to the doctors. I don’t know the severity of the injury,” Larionov told a press conference.
“Torpedo” took the series lead best-of-four, 3–2. The next game will take place on March 12 in Moscow.
