CSKA defender Darren Dietz talked about Game 5 of the KHL playoff first round series with Severstal noting that the team was able to get a result, despite not showing the best game.
The game took place in Moscow on Friday and ended 4-3 in favor of the hosts.
We won and that’s the main thing. It’s not our best match, but the result is there. The opponent played well. We were ready for it. Good experience for us, we are preparing more. Most of them play well. We don’t want to give them that chance.
In the last match, the opponent changed goalkeepers several times, so the score is not quite fair. Severstal is a serious contender. There are no weak teams in this league.
