Vegas head coach Bruce Cassidy praised the Russian forward’s quality of play Pavel Dorofeyev.
Dorofeev scored the game-winning goal for Vegas in the NHL regular season game against the St. Louis Blues (5:3). Moreover, the striker collected an assist and was recognized as the first star of the game.
– He worked a lot with the puck, he put pressure on the opponent. I think he finished the top three well with William Karlsson and Reilly Smith. He also did not hesitate to throw at goal, – quotes the coach of the Las Vegas Sun.
For Dorofeev, 22, those points were the first of his NHL career.
In the 2019 NHL Draft, the forward was selected by Vegas in the third round, 79th overall.
