Forward “Edmonton” Evander Kane Suspended for one match in the play-off series in the semi-finals NHL against Colorado, according to the league’s website.
Kane was heavily fined for fending off Avalanche forward Nazem Kadri in Game 3, which ended in a 4-2 loss to Colorado on Saturday. Kadri, after a forceful reception, crashed to the side and was injured, due to which he was out at least until the end of the series.
In 15 playoff games, Kane scored 17 points (13 goals and 4 assists).
“Colorado” leads the series 3-0, Game 4 is Monday in Edmonton.
