Hockey club “Sochi” extended contracts with defenders Anton Novikov And Nikita Vaschenko as well as attackers Donat Stalnov according to the club’s press office.
The contracts for Novikov, 21, and Vashchenko, 22, are bilateral, while Stalnov, 23, has a one-sided deal. All contracts are calculated until April 30, 2024.
Novikov went 44 games last season without scoring. For the hockey player, this season was the start of the league.
Vashchenko joined the Sochi roster following a trade with SKA. He took part in 20 regular season games and scored 2 (0+2) points.
Stalnov played 55 games and scored 11 (6+5) points. The hockey player spent the second half of the season with the captain’s crest.
Sochi finished the season last, 11th in the Western Conference and did not reach the playoffs.
