NHL: Rangers beat Washington, Montreal – Pittsburgh

The National Hockey League played 12 regular season games last night.

Montreal ended its “black streak” in the NHL. The Canadians could not win a long seven games until they beat Pittsburgh on the road last night. Note that the “penguins” are not yet guaranteed their entry into the playoffs, and therefore the points scored are absolutely necessary. What was more unexpected was their defeat at home from one of the outsiders with a score of 4:6.

Also note the home victory of the Rangers against Washington 5:3. This defeat further reduced the chances of “capital” to enter the desired top eight.
