Rookie Draft Lottery National Hockey League 2023 will be on May 8, reports sportsnet .
It will feature 16 teams that did not qualify for the Stanley Cup playoffs. Clubs that win one of the lottery rounds will not be able to move higher in the repechage than ten positions. A club can only win the Draft Lottery once in a five-year period, with lotteries up to 2022 not counted.
The NHL Draft will take place June 28-29, 2023 at the home of the Nashville Predators.
Canada’s National Junior Team forward Connor Bedard is considered the draft favorite. Russian SKA system striker Matvey Michkov, according to experts and scouting offices, should go to the top 5.
