Russian Goaltender, New York Rangers Igor Shesterkin recognized as the third star of the game of the day in the National Hockey League (NHL).
Sunday night, Shesterkin saved all 33 shots in the Rangers’ 6-0 home win over the Pittsburgh Penguins in the NHL regular season. Russian for the second time this season played zero.
The first star of the day was named Carolina forward Sebastian Aho, who scored a hat trick with the game-winning goal in overtime in a 5-4 overtime game against Philadelphia. The second star was Edmonton forward Evander Kane, who also scored three goals, standing out in the game with Seattle.
Shesterkin has played 50 games this season and won 32.
