Weisfeld doubts Radulov will become undisputed leader of Ak Bars

Famous hockey pundit and official Leonid Weisfeld in an interview with , he shared his opinion on the Dallas striker’s physical condition Alexandra Radulova who returns to the KHL.

“I sincerely wish Radulov to become the same undisputed leader at Ak Bars as he was at CSKA and Salavat Yulaev,” says Weisfeld. “But there are serious doubts that will be the case. Radulov’s game for Dallas last season was frankly unimpressive. It’s clear that Alexander isn’t the same anymore. But let’s wait, maybe in Russia it will change.

– Who could play with Radulov in the same line?

“It doesn’t matter at all. Because if Radulov is in good shape, he will play with any partner. We remember that he could drag any link to CSKA. The only question is – will he?

Alexander Radulov previously played in the KHL from 2008 to 2016, playing for Salavat Yulaev and CSKA. Then the 35-year-old forward continued his NHL career, playing for Montreal and Dallas. Radulov is a double world champion (2008, 2009).
