The meeting took place on Sunday evening in New York and ended in favor of the owners of the ice with the score 6:0 (2:0, 4:0, 0:0). Shesterkin saved 33 shots on goal and was recognized as the game’s first star. Russian for the second time this season played zero.
“Of course, that means a lot to me. I missed that feeling and I’m very happy right now,” Shesterkin told the NHL website.
