On Monday, Colorado beat the Chicago Blackhawks 5-0 in a regular season home game. Georgiev saved all 27 shots on goal and was recognized as the game’s best player. The 27-year-old goaltender played his fifth clean sheet of the season.
– The team is playing well now and you try to appreciate when everything is going in your favor. As I said, if there are 20 shots on my goal in the next few games, I will manage them and try to take advantage of them,” Georgiev quoted the NHL website.
Colorado sits fourth in the Western Conference standings.
