Dynamo-Molodechno terminated the contract with the Russian striker Nikolai Zherdev reports the press service of the Belarusian club.
The Russian striker joined the Belarusian team at the end of October 2022. Zherdev played 33 games for the team, during which he scored 5 goals and provided 12 assists.
In the 2003 NHL Draft, Zherdev was selected by Columbus with the fourth number. Because of his 421 games and 261 (115 + 146) points in the NHL.
In the KHL, the 38-year-old forward played for Atlant, Ak Bars, Spartak, Severstal, Dynamo Moscow, Sochi, Torpedo, Neftekhimik and Dynamo Riga. As part of the Russian national team, the striker became a double world champion.
