Technical preparation of the Arena Omsk, which will become the new home “Avant-garde” is 80%, according to the press service of the hockey club.
Earlier, Avangard Chairman of the Board, Alexander Krylov, said the arena will go live on September 1.
— The active phase of finishing work continues in the main arena building. In most premises, the tiles are already laid, the ceilings and walls are finished.
In the hockey ball, the pouring of the main concrete slab under the future ice is completed. Ice technology engineering systems are being installed. The brackets are impregnated with a protective decorative coating.
6 out of 12 escalators have been installed in the building. Elevators are being installed. The arena is connected to the city’s water supply system, domestic and storm water drainage systems. At the same time, the landscaping of the adjacent territory is underway. Around 2,000 people work at the facility.
Since the 2018/19 season, Avangard have been playing home games in Balashikha near Moscow.
