“Two straight losses in the series with Tampa made us hungry and angry” – Panarin

Offensive New York Rangers Artemi Panarin commented on the second consecutive defeat of “Tampa Bay Lightning” (1:4) in the Stanley Cup semi-final playoff.

Tampa inflicted the second consecutive loss on Tuesday to the Rangers and tied the score in the series (2-2). The 30-year-old Russian became the author of the only Rangers puck.

“Those two losses left us hungry and angry. Sometimes it’s good. I don’t think we’ve somehow lost confidence, we’ll just be even hungrier in the next few games,” Panarin said as quoted by journalist Vince Mercogliano.

The fifth game of the confrontation is scheduled for June 10.
